9 July!
Anyway, i thought someone had alrdy post about this- BUT since no one has yet i am going to post it. No hard feelings m'kay?Our New Commitee Members.
ChairPerson - Vra
Vice Chairperson - Frederick
Student Conductor - *Blank* at the moment, would update as soon as it is chosen.
-Sectional Leaders-
Soprano - JieYi
Alto - Kimberly
Baritone - Frederick
-Administrative Workers-
Secretary - Kimberly
Treasurer - Rebecca
Logistic - Poh Heng and Elena.
I bet you all know what SL leaders do- so i won't go into detail.
Now for the Administrative Workers!
Secretary's job is basically doing all the things that have got to do with paper and pen. Like for example- marking of attendance, handing out of forms and stuffs lyk that.
Treasurer as the name suggests, is ALL about money! Well the job is to collect money for choir funds or some activities.
Logistic -is what i call the worst job you can EVER get and also the most important one among the admin section. In logistic, you HAVE to do EVERYTHING that would keep choir going. Basically, Logistic ppl do all the basic things like- venue, keyboard, scores, uniform blah blah blah.
-Personal Views-
I was kinda happy when i wasn't chosen in the SL section as well as the Secretary and Treasurer- and i was SO sure of it that i wouldn't be chosen in the logistic section, and guess what happened? I was chosen to be IN logistics with a assistant. I was lyk, "Oh Jesus! Oh God! Oh my LIFE!" Well, I already had an idea on how logistic ppl have to work, so yea.
But truthfully, have you ever see someone who hate their job ON their first day of their job? If you haven, your lookin at that someone's post now. I mean, on the first day of my job- i am already being bombarded with works already! But hey, i have NEVER curse before; unless when necessary, lyk today. xP
I always laugh -yes i mean it, laugh- behind the logistic ppl's back becuz they always had to do ALOT of things but i guess i would have a taste of it myself now. And i bet someone out there would laugh at me behind my back- i know who you are, don't even dare to hide now!
Well, I think i would enjoy it nonetheless if the work isn't TOO much. So yea, gambete!
-And oh- let me give you two piece of news before it's annouce to the whole choir, from now onwards, we would have to check all the things on the choir notice board. If you don't know where it is, it's located directly under the music room at the first floor.
The second news is, we would have a choir bonding session either on monday OR wednesday next week. I would lyk to hope it's on the Monday becuz i would be buzy on Wednesday. Which means i don't get to bond :( - Anyway i am incharge of the plannin' too, so, hehe i see what i can do! :) BUt if no choice- die die must have to be on wednesday, then i think i pon my lesson! (Sssh, don't tell the teacher!)
Today in choir- Mr chen had also introduced a new kind of sitting style! Now we get to sit in a BIG circle where Mr chen would be in the middle. There would be also a SMALL circle inside the BIG circle, where the late people would have to be in it. There would be 30 chairs to make up the BIG circle and 10 to make up the SMALL one. He also introduced us to a new warm-up. It's by singing Amazing Grace- well we only sing the tune not the real words.
And oh, Mr chen did a REAL funny thing today, that made my stomach hurt so much after it. Becuz alloysius(sec 1 guy from base) had some trouble singing the right note out, So Mr chen took a paper and place the end at his ear- it's touching, and his lips on the other end, and he sing out the note asking alloysius to sing the note with him. And guess what? Alloysius did SOOO much better after it! A round of applause please~ WOO
He reasoned that, sound travels better by solid then gas. So by using the piece of paper, alloysius can listen to the sound better and well sing it! :)
